International Day of Education

Today we mark International Day of Education, an opportunity to reechoed the importance of making education accessible to all. This year’s theme is “Learning for lasting peace.”

Learning for peace must be transformative, and help empower learners with the necessary knowledge, resources, values, attitudes, skills and behaviours to become agents of peace in their communities. Education has the power to transform lives and offer a pathway to success, playing a vital role for child development in our community, a foundation for more peaceful, just and sustainable societies.

As part of our “Back to School Project” we visited the Josephus Memorial School at Mamprobi Accra, as a way of showing our commitment to ensure education is accessible to all. It’s a collaborative efforts and together we can all contribute our share in ensuring education is used as a tool in promoting peace and sustainable societies.

To our volunteers thank you!
