The power of Volunteerism. A blessed happy New Year and we want to specially thank our volunteers for their immerse support in volunteering in our recent community feeding project to the people of glefe, a suburb in Dansoman.
Volunteerism is a force and volunteers plays a major role in community development. Their unique qualities and the opportunity to develop new skills, build connection, meet new people, gain confidence, make a difference and to give themselves out in service to their communities makes them agents of change.
Volunteers raised with the right knowledge, skills, mind set and support can effect positive and long lasting changes in their communities.
They are asset for change in community development. With over 600 people to reach out to, their presence were a key motivating factor in the success of our work.
Thinking of doing something great this year, learning to team up and collaborate with others will definitely increase the impact and magnitude of that goal.
