This past week, we had the opportunity to participate in this year’s African Youth SDGs Summit in Accra on the Theme ” Securing the 2030 commitment beyond the post Covid-19 era. A platform where like minded youth came together to deliberate, collaborate, network and find solutions on how we can have meaningful youth engagement in achieving the SDGs GOALS by 2030. Key note from Speakers of the summit were that,
- The youth are the asset for today.
- The youth holds the keys and touch to help achieve the SDGs GOALS.
Empowering, utilizing and harnessing the potentials of the youth in a collaborative effort to help achieve the agenda 2030 and to foster growth and development in our communities were of utmost importance in achieving the SDGs GOALS
As youth we believe that awareness, partnership, resources and stakeholders engagement were some of the key challenges most youth encounter and with the right needed support the youth will be able to exhibit their full potentials.
We at Dennis Relief Foundation believes in taking the initiatives and starting now. Therefore we encourage the youth to start now, take actions now. By 2030 and beyond we would have contributed in making our communities safe and prosperous.
